LifeArk™ is certified by IAPMO-UES, an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited product evaluation agency, and the Housing and Community Development (HCD) Factory-Built Housing Program.

IAMPO-UES

IAPMO-UES is an ANSI accredited evaluation agency and national leader in codes and standards development. LifeArk's proprietary material meets the stringent standards of any new building material introduced to the construction industry. The Evaluation Criteria EC-035 describes a series of over 30 arduous lab tests against stringent ASTM standards, developing and implementing factory Quality Control Standards and Manuals, factory inspections by Housing and Community Development, public and peer reviews, and Technical Committee approvals from a group of expert engineers in this field.

LifeArk has certified the industry’s very first structural, load-bearing composite polymer made of our proprietary material.

GDS Innovation Lab received certification and publication of LifeArk Modulars. LifeArk’s Evaluation Report ER-560 certifies that LifeArk Modulars complies with all code provisions in the 2021, 2018, and 2015 International Building Code® (IBC) and International Residential Code® (IRC) and the 2019 and 2016 California Building Code® (CBC) and California Residential Code® (CRC).

LifeArk Modulars are also published in the Construction Specifications Institute, “a national not-for-profit association of more than 7,000 members dedicated to improving the communication of construction information throughout continuous development and transformation of standards and formats, education and certification of professionals to improve project delivery processes.” under Chapter 6: “Wood, Plastics, and Composites”

LifeArk has received HCD FBH certification for all assembly factories in California and for 14 models spanning permanent supportive housing, bridge housing, emergency shelters, and ADU’s.
