Ventura County Lewis Road Permanent Supportive Housing
In partnership with the County of Ventura and DignityMoves, LifeArk will provide the modular units for a new permanent supportive housing development near 1732 S. Lewis Road in the unincorporated area of Ventura County. The County of Ventura was awarded by HCD’s Homekey+ program. This funding, announced on August 21, 2025 by the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD), comes from Proposition 1 funding, California’s mental health reform bond.
This project will be operated by local service provider Many Mansions, and will create 88 permanent supportive housing units for individuals experiencing homelessness. In addition, one unit will be reserved for a resident property manager to provide on-site support and security. The development will also include community gathering spaces and offices for case managers and support staff, fostering a welcoming and supportive environment for residents.
LifeArk will provide design and state approvals as well as manufacturing and factory assembly of all housing modules. Swinerton Construction will provide all aspects of site work including the final assembly of the LifeArk modules onsite.
