Pomona Family Resource Center
The Pomona Family Resource Center, in partnership with the City of Pomona, is a new permanent supportive housing community for families who have experienced homelessness. Set on an infill lot along North Garey Avenue, the project keeps the existing building at the front of the site already serving as the City’s Homelessness Services Center and adds 16 new units for families behind it, turning an underused property into stable, service-connected housing.
The mix includes one ADA-accessible unit along with three efficiency 1-bedroom units and twelve efficiency duplex units, plus a laundry unit. Between the two rows runs a landscaped courtyard with planters and shaded seating that gives residents a real commons at the heart of the community.
This project is in partnership with CMC Architects and Engineers serving as site architect and Angeles Contractor, Inc. as general contractor and slated to open summer of 2027.
