Charles Wee is the founder of GDS Architects and Principal Designer and Inventor of LifeArk. With 35+ years of architecture and urban planning experience, Charles is passionate about using innovative design solutions to address key issues around the world.


Drew Garcia has a MBA from Stanford University and 20+ years of product management experience working in Silicon Valley for small startups and large high-tech companies including SugarSync, TimeBridge and Yahoo. He is passionate about the global impact of LifeArk.


Michael Collins is the co-founder of GDS Architects, a LEED Green Associate and member of CTBUH and Urban Land Institute. With 22+ years of architecture and master planning experiences, he is the project director of LifeArk, overseeing the design and engineering processes .


Jang Jae Young is the Principal Director of GDS Korea and has 20+ years of architecture and engineering experience. He currently directs all technical architecture and engineering production for LifeArk.



Cory Marquez sits on the sub-committee for the City of Pasadena’s Partnership for Homelessness and Housing, part of the continuum of care (CoC). He is the head pastor of church New Abbey in Pasadena and brings relationships with homeless service providers Housing Works, Door of Hope, and Elizabeth House. He oversees partnerships and community developments.


Samuel H. Kang has consulted for a wide range of organizations in both private and public sectors in Europe and Asia. He is currently on the teaching faculty at the Peter F. Drucker Graduate School of Management at Claremont Graduate University. He oversees business and organizational development for LifeArk.


Spencer Kim joins the LifeArk team with many experiences in community-based projects and a degree in Applied Psychology Human Development & Sociology, with a Community, Advocacy & Social Policy focus. He is a part of the LifeArk Community team, working with our partners to develop implementation strategies.


Rebecca Wee has 10+ years of experience in various humanitarian organizations and graduated with a M.S. in Social Entrepreneurship from the University of Southern California. She is passionate about empowering children and women in marginalized communities. She oversees programs and community implementation strategies.
