Watsonville Navigation Center Near Completion

September 24, 2025

Watsonville’s new 32-unit modular navigation center is nearing completion, offering transitional housing for people living along the Pajaro River. Built with LifeArk’s modular system, the project delivers more than just shelter; residents will have access to showers, laundry, communal dining, and pet-friendly spaces designed to restore dignity and stability.

This effort comes to life thanks to the collaboration and partnership of DignityMoves, Swinerton, Santa Cruz County, Monterey County, Westview Presbyterian Church, and many dedicated community partners. Together, they’re proving what’s possible when innovation and compassion align.

Expected to open by November, the village represents a model for how modular housing can quickly create safe, supportive communities and serve as a pathway toward permanent housing for those most in need.
